Each conductor is insulated in either Heat Resistant PVC, PFA, Fibreglass or Fibreglass with Stainless Steel braiding overall. The cores are laid flat and then overall sheathed in the same material with an optional stainless steel braiding for the fibreglass version. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meets IEC 60584-1 Class 2 : 2013 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulation material.
